SUPER ECOPLANT


This is our latest model of compact wastewater plants, oriented to small communities of up to 1400  persons or 125 equivalent cubic meters per unit, capacity which can be increased to twice that figure setting up another unit in parallel.  Their unitary processes of aeration and secondary sedimentation have been designed respecting the standards of height and retention time that favor most the efficient performance for both stages, following the pattern of the design concept of Ecoplant, which has proven its satisfactory  results.

These are continuous flow plants, of activated sludges in the extended aeration mode that incorporate in a single tank of vertical cylinder geometry all the aeration stages with a retention time of 18 hours for the average flow, and a stage for Secondary Sedimentation, with a sedimentation rate of  1.1 m3/m2/h at peak flow. The sludge return is gravitational towards the reactor for sedimentable sludges and with air elevators for surface sludge.   These plants should be installed above ground, with a concrete base as support.   Unless topographical conditions are favorable, the above ground installation demands that they be fed through an elevator system pump, ideally preceded by primary treatment oriented to the removal of sand and grease from the effluent.
