MODULAR PLANT RAEX-H 85 TO 120 DWELLINGS

These are formulated with the continuous flow extended aeration system and are called modular due to their being designed in a module that can grow as a horizontal cylinder limited by the norms of transport, which are assumed to be 3m in diameter and 16m long for a low flat bed truck.

When the capacity of a module of said dimensions is not sufficient, another module is attached in parallel, in which the stages of sedimentation and digestion of sludge are placed, leaving the other solely as reactor. Through this procedure with the modules and their processes, a configuration is obtained as described below. See table. According to this criteria, it is possible, through different configurations, to serve requirements for treatment from 16 to 260 m3/day

The letters RAEX correspond to extended aeration reactors in horizontal axis tanks. This latter characteristic favors a piston flow regime within the reactor, the length and shape of which guarantees the full agitation and mix of the reactor during a period of 18 hours retention.

Once their function ends (due, for example, to the arrival of regular sewage piping), these plants can be removed and used again elsewhere.
