DIFFUSERS  

Diffusers are disc-shaped, compression molded and made of standard material, EPDM.

EPDM is synthetic rubber specifically molded for this purpose, through rigorous processes that guarantee its physical properties for a long time, maintaining at the same time the bubble level with a minimum load loss, and no ruptures.

This material is not recommended  where there may appear or exist solvents, fats, or a high concentration of salts.

The  membranes guarantee a higher resistance against rupture;  on the other hand those that are not  made of EPDM look the same but are of less resistance.

These membranes have very small perforations which generate bubbles of 1 to 2mm in diameter.

Most of the frames for these discs are made of Polypropilene, which perform well in temperatures up to 100 ºC
