HORIZONTAL CYLINDRICAL TANKS FABRICATED WITH FIBERGLASS REINFORCED PLASTIC
Stationary Horizontal Cylindrical Tanks are fabricated using the Filament Winding Process in compliance with ASTM D-3299 Norms, utilizing resins of high chemical resistance reinforced with glass fibers of the unidirectional, bidirectional and multidirectional types. The structures of the body, covers and supports are calculated considering simultaneous loads of wind and earthquake. | The tanks are designed for installation on a flat stable surface, with no bumps or irregularities so that the supporting structures may rest properly. The following are considered as standard accessories: manhole with cover, gasket and bolts, fittings for loading and drainage, vent, bottom hold-down inserts, lifting lugs, see-through band for level and nameplate. Tanks are delivered with calculation documents, installation and inspection procedure instructions, showing the number, size and type of hold-down bolts required.
The table below shows the capacities and the main standard dimensions. It is possible to vary some dimensions and accessories according to needs.

Note: Supports shall be designed for each case according to operating conditions and shall envelop 120 degrees as a minimum. These may be monolithic FRP, steel or concrete (independent) or the surrounding terrain, properly compacted in accordance to our specifications may also serve.
