DUAL LAMINATE

Equipments fabricated with dual laminate have a thermoplastic chemical barrier or liner such as PVC, CPVC, PEHD, PP, PVDF, ECTFE.

Said liner is reinforced with a structural FRP laminate on the outside.

This mix of materials provides the market with technical options that allow for case by case solutions, according to the requirements of each client.

The Dual Laminate technology has shown to be very efficient in terms of investment/operating life. Fibra Ingeniería y Construcción has handled this technology for over 20 years, with vast practical experience and a large number of successful projects in operation.

The properties and physico-chemical resistance of thermoplastic liners allow improvement over the conduct of FRP products, when Polyester or Vinyl-Ester resins show limitations as to chemistry, temperature or abrasion.
