The ECOIL plant, developed by FIBRA SA, separates the mixture of water, oil and hydrocarbons generated in vehicle repair and maintenance shops, car washes
truck and train stations, petroleum distributors, road service stations, refineries, airports, machine shops, military and industrial facilities and parking lots. The treated water can be poured onto land, into sewers, as well as coastal and inland surface waters, in compliance with Decrees 90, 46 and 609.
The effectiveness of the Fibra S.A. ECOIL plant is higher due to its additional coalescence stage, through the use of coalescers. Thanks to their oleophilic properties, they are able to capture the smallest particles that were not separated at a previous stage and coalesce them to a size which will allow them to be separated. Coalescers are arranged on a sliding panel that can be easily removed for cleaning purposes and reuse.
Treated Effluent: The treated effluent flow gravitationally exits through the lower part of a discharge tee. The separated oil is concentrated in the upper part, where it is removed by a horizontal pipe skimmer. The concentration of fat and oils in the treated effluent does not exceed 10mg/L (10ppm).
The FIBRA S.A.ECOIL Plant is calculated according to the treatment flow in liters per minute, and is available from 118 to 300 LPM in standard models and by request for greater flows.
