CMPC Celulosa S.A. awards to FIBRA S.A. the FRP tanks for the Santa Fe No.2 Project for its Nacimiento Plant, for the Biomasa Project in its Mininco Pacifico Plant  and for the expansion of its Laja plant.

CMPC Celulosa S.A. awards to FIBRA S.A. the engineering, fabrication and transport of over 27   FRP tanks for their Santa Fe, Pacifico and Laja, Plants, with a capacity of over 4,300 cubic meters in total.


These large tanks subject to vacuum and external loads were designed and calculated according to international standards and project specifications.  The engineering work took over three months and the fabrication of over 27 tanks, six months.
To carry out this project, FIBRA S.A. utilized its facilities mentioned before, operating with its three large diameter filament winding machines, working simultaneously in two shifts.


FIBRA S.A., a certified firm operating under ISO 9001-2000, with a large infrastructure and  capacity and specialized  personnel, in addition to internal fabrication procedures and quality control methods established under its Quality Policy, has achieved  the complete satisfaction of our client CMPC Celulosa S.A., and, in addition, has been recognized as the best Contract with a zero accident rate.


The largest tanks were designed having in mind the difficulties and restrictions in transport, which meant using special means of transportation and some assembly in the field for the larger units.
