FIBRA S.A. has developed a complete line of floor gratings and handrail  in Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic, assembled with profiles made of FRP by the Pulltrusion method.

The main application is in areas where the environment is corrosive or where a maintenance-free system is sought.

The gratings are fabricated in different models depending on the load and span or distance between supports. They are normally made to exact length based on engineering drawings of the user, thus avoiding field cuts, which can sometimes reach 10%.  For reasons of safety and appearance these are fabricated in yellow color, which is incorporated in the resin and they have a non-slip surface. 

Handrail are fabricated with square hollow profiles which are delivered complete with supporting and stiffening system which require no special tools to assemble.  They come in modules which are made from engineering drawings and they are yellow in color.

Both gratings and handrail are made from pulltruded profiles which possess a high chemical resistance due to the fact that they are made with Vinylester resins which resist corrosion.  By request, they can be made with fire-retardant qualities.  Their surface is smooth, the color is incorporated and they have a high ratio of structural resistance to weigh. They are maintenance-free.

FIBRA S.A. carries out the detail engineering and dimensioning in accordance with engineering drawings of the user, delivering the product properly tagged and identified so as to match with installation drawings.
